Every little girl’s fantasy come to life. Brush a horse’s tail, go on a short trail ride, and even make them dinner. Our birthday parties allow time to create a keepsake and sing happy birthday over cake and snacks. All About Horses OC, LLC. Minimum of Ten Participants Required.
Girl Scout Events Our Girl Scouts events are tailor made to meet all the requirements to obtain the Horseback Riding Badge. During our events the girls will learn to groom, riding basics, and even a craft. AAH is a nationally approved vendor.
Girl Scouts will learn the following:
Proper care and safety around large animals. How to lead a horse. How to secure a horse using a tie or cross tie. Grooming Techniques. How to saddle and bridle a horse. How to Mount and Dismount Properly. How to ride the horse, get the horse moving forward, and to turn and stop. How to sit properly in the saddle, and maintain good form. The scouts will learn about stall care, and supplemental feeding of horses. A memorable craft will be created by each Girl Scout to take home.
Waiver of release of liability must be signed and submitted to firstname.lastname@example.org by parents before Girl Scout may participate. Or returned on day of event to event lead trainer. Long pants, socks, and closed toed shoes must be worn. Helmets must be worn while on the horses and are provided by All About Horses OC, LLC. No running, screaming or yelling in or around horses. No gum
$75.00 per girl scout for three hours at the barn. (Minimum of ten scouts required to book an event/larger troops will receive a $5.00 discount)
Ten percent of event total is required to hold the event date. Checks may be written to All About Horses OC, LLC and in notes should reflect your event date and troop number.
